Viacheslav joined Nebula Labs as a Ukrainian freelance developer, bringing strong hands-on experience in Python, Django, and backend systems development. He holds a Master’s degree in Software Engineering and Information Technology, and specialises in building reliable, well-structured APIs and scalable backend architecture.

Since joining Nebula Labs, Viacheslav has designed and built backend API projects from the ground up using Django and Django REST Framework, taking ownership of core implementation and backend architecture. His work includes improving API performance through database query optimisation, raw SQL, ORM prefetching and query restructuring, as well as implementing caching strategies using Redis for high-demand endpoints and expensive calculations.

Viacheslav has contributed to projects including Allianz, OneXp and Explain, integrating services such as Stripe for payment processing, AWS S3 for file storage, Celery for background processing, and real-time functionality using Socket.IO and native Django WebSockets.
